Head-on collision kills three adults and one child

In Brevard County, a car accident can do an untold amount of damage to an individual and families. These injuries and fatalities are increasingly possible when there is a head-on collision. Regardless of the circumstances, motor vehicle accidents place numerous people in jeopardy and may happen without warning for a variety of reasons. Those who have been affected by a car accident need to understand what they should do after it happens.

A 20-year-old Brevard County woman who had gone Christmas shopping with her 2-year-old daughter was involved in a head-on collision at approximately 9:00 p.m. The young mother was a passenger in a Honda Accord when a GMC SUV, driving west in an eastbound lane on the road, crashed into her car. The driver of the Accord, the mother and her child all lost their lives in the accident. The 32-year-old male driver of the GMC was also killed. The accident investigation is ongoing to determine why the GMC driver was going the wrong way.

When there is a car accident with injuries, there will be medical costs and the possibility that the injured person or persons will need rehabilitative care. They might not be able to return to work or function normally ever again. If there is a fatality, the person who died might have been the breadwinner in the household or a valued member of a family. There will be funeral costs and the emotional toll of having to move forward without that person as a parent, brother, sister, child or grandparent.

When a fatal accident occurs, the victim's loved ones may consider pursuing legal action. Receiving compensation for what happened is unlikely to provide full solace to those who have to move forward. However, it may at least help with expenses and the effort to get past the incident.
